WHY SMSTS
The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) offers two pivotal courses aimed at enhancing safety and leadership in the construction sector: the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). These programs are essential for professionals aspiring to uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and welfare on construction sites.
The SSSTS course is specifically tailored for those stepping into supervisory roles. Over two days, it equips site supervisors with foundational knowledge and practical skills to manage health and safety issues effectively.
